With a total length of 74.03km, Maputo Bypass Project connects with N1, N2, N4 and other radiating roads in Maputo City, and is a new Class A national highway of Mozambique. The Project is a two-way four-lane highway with double asphalt concrete pavement constructed by means of EPC, which involves 6 bridges and 3 interchanges. The main works have obtained the preliminary acceptance certificate section by section in the second half of 2015.
The Project will give full play to its functions to distribute transit vehicles and improve the overall traffic capacity of the road network, effectively improving the people’s living standard and production speed of residents in Mozambique, and promoting local economic development.
