Mauritania Friendship Harbour Desilting and Sediment Barrier Project Department Holds a Collective Birthday Party for the Employees

On the evening of March 31, the staff dining hall of Mauritania Friendship Harbour Desilting and Sediment Barrier Project Department was filled with cheers and laughter. The Project Department held a warm and happy collective birthday party for the employees whose birthdays fell within the first quarter.

Since the Mauritania Friendship Harbour Desilting and Sediment Barrier Project commenced on November 30, 2014, all the staffs have been high in spirits, worked for the same goal in a down-to-earth manner, and all the tasks of the project have progressed smoothly. In order to ensure the construction progress, many employees could not celebrate their birthday in time. Therefore, the project department established an employees’ birthday file and will hold a collective birthday party at the end of every quarter so that the employees can have a happy and meaningful birthday.

At the party, the project department prepared a birthday cake and beautiful gifts for the employees whose birthdays fell within the first quarter. In the song “Happy birthday to you…”, 12 employees whose birthday was celebrated made birthday wishes and blew out the candles together. All the participants toasted and expressed their birthday blessings. After that, Fan Shunping – General Manager of the Office gave a speech as the representative of the employees whose birthday was celebrated. He said that although the Mauritania Friendship Harbour Desilting and Sediment Barrier Project was at the intense construction period, the project department thought of the employees and made them feel the meticulous care of the project department and warmth of CRBC through holding a collective birthday party. Besides, he said, “we will engage ourselves into work with a greater mental state, try to complete the project ahead of schedule and ensure the normal operation of Friendship Harbour.”
