Du Fei Accompanies Wang Haihuai in Visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar

In the morning of October 19, CCCC President Wang Haihuai met with Pakistani Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar who came to Beijing to attend the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Both sides had an in-depth discussion and exchange on further deepening the cooperation.

Kakar appreciated the prominent contribution of CCCC to infrastructure construction in Pakistan and introduced Pakistan’s latest planning of transportation infrastructure construction. Kakar noted that the Pakistani government will root for the implementation of CCCC’s highway, railway, port, industrial park and energy projects in Pakistan, hoping that CCCC would give full play to its advantages in integrated services for the entire industry chain and deeply get involved in the construction of the “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor” to further consolidate the long-standing friendship between China and Pakistan.

Wang Haihuai thanked the Pakistani government for its trust and support to CCCC as always. He noted that CCCC entered Pakistan earlier and continues to expand its presence in the country. With robust basis for cooperation and long-standing friendship, CCCC has successfully completed many landmark projects in Pakistan over the years. CCCC is willing to further enhance the communications with all circles in Pakistan, expand the fields of cooperation, and facilitate the construction of the “China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”, thus doing its part to promote Pakistan’s economic and social development.

Among other attendees were Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Muhammad Sami Saeed, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Finance Akata, Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Finance Muhammad Ali, CCCC Vice President Sun Liqiang, and CRBC Chairman Du Fei.
