CRBC Signs the Contracts for Safety Guarantee Project of Alternative South-North Road and Rehabilitation Project of Northern Ring Road in Bishkek

On July 9, CRBC signed the contracts for Safety Guarantee Project of Alternative South-North Road and Rehabilitation Project of Northern Ring Road in Bishkek with the Ministry of Traffic and Road of the Kyrgyz Republic. CRBC Chairman Lu Shan and Minister Калилов Жамшитбек Калилович signed the contracts on behalf of both parties under the witness of his Excellency Xiao Qinghua- Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan and Chen Yonggang- Secretary of Economic and Commercial Counselor’s Office of Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan.

The above mentioned projects are important parts of the national road network of Kyrgyzstan, and are of great significance for the development of the national road network. With the duration of 42 months, the projects are constructed by means of EPC, and mainly involve subgrade works, pavement works, drainage works, avalanche protection channel (open-cut tunnel) works and ancillary facilities.

At the signing ceremony, the Minister Калилов Жамшитбек Калилович spoke highly of the achievements made by CRBC in Kyrgyzstan, and noted that Kyrgyzstan has broad space and urgent needs for development in the field of infrastructure construction. As a strategic partner of the Ministry of Traffic and Road of the Kyrgyz Republic, CRBC is expected to expand the cooperation in more fields in a bid to promote the further development of long-term good-neighboring relations.

CRBC Chairman Lu Shan introduced the overall development, achievements made by CRBC in expanding the international market in recent years, as well as its performances and advantages in infrastructure construction, investment & financing, and operation management sectors. He extended his thanks to the Government and people of Kyrgyzstan for the support and trust given to CRBC, and noted that CRBC will increase the input in markets in Kyrgyzstan, participate in the investment and construction of infrastructures, and make more contributions for the infrastructure construction in Kyrgyzstan.
