CRBC and Macau SAR Government Signs the Cooperation Agreement and Helps Macau Enterprises Make Investments in International Infrastructure
On the afternoon of June 3, CRBC Vice President Du Fei attended the joint meeting of “Macau Enterprises and Mainland Chinese Enterprises Participate in Infrastructure Projects along the Belt and Road” together in Macau, and on behalf of CRBC, signed the cooperation memo with Macau Construction Association.

At the meeting, Mr. Du Fei introduced the achievements CRBC made in practicing the “belt and road” initiative and promoting the investment and financing project, and gave an in-depth discussion on CRBC deepening the cooperation with Macau infrastructure enterprises to explore the international market together. He pointed out that CRBC, as the international contractor with the greatest market competitiveness and brand reputation in Hong Kong and Macau, was dedicated to be the responsibility partaker of Macau SAR’s development, deep participant of regional economic development and high-quality provider of government purchase of public services, and making contributions to the diversified economic development and prosperity of Macau. He said Macau enterprises and Mainland Chinese enterprises together went global, which conformed to the development demands of both parties. He hoped that two parties could give play to their advantages, improve the cooperation model, enrich the financing channel, jointly explore the international infrastructure market and strive for mutual benefit and win-win.
That Macau, as the financial service platform for the commercial and trade cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, participate in the investment in international infrastructure projects along “the belt and road” and leads the Macau construction enterprises to “go global” is the demand of Macau’s economic development. CRBC Hong Kong Branch develops intensively in Macau, listens to the demands of Macau SAR Government and the stakeholders, proposes and promotes the cooperation between Macau SAR Government, trade association, local enterprises and Mainland Chinese enterprises to jointly participate in the construction of the “belt and road”. According to the cooperation agreement, Mainland Chinese enterprises will dominate the project financing and project construction; the large local construction enterprises with strength in Macau will participate in the form of joint stock partnership or other forms; Macau SAR Government will provide financial support; China International Contractors Association and Macau Construction Association will provide relevant guidance and service. This cooperation will help CRBC to accelerate the market development and project financing in ASEAN region and Portuguese-speaking countries, and better serve the national “going global”strategy.
