Liu Xianfa- the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Inspects the Mombasa-Nairobi SCR and Attends the Public Safety Mobilization Meeting

From August 5 to 7, the delegation led by Liu Xianfa- the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya inspected the transport operation and safety management of Mombasa-Nairobi SGR during the Kenyan presidential election in the company of CCCC Overseas Business Department Vice President Liang Qingshan, Kenya Office General Manager Li Qiang, CCCC Tunnel Bureau Vice President Zhang Yazhou, and Operation Company General Manager Huang Jincan.

On August 7, the delegation attended the public safety mobilization meeting held by the Operation Company during the Kenyan presidential election in the base of the Operation Company. Huang Jincan- General Manager of the Operation Company delivered report and made the relevant deployment. Ambassador Liu Xianfa highly praised the work done by the Operation Company during the preparation and since the two months after it was opened for traffic. He noted that it is necessary to fully recognize the outstanding and remarkable achievements made by the Operation Company, fully recognize the importance of the operation safety of Mombasa-Nairobi SGR, adhere to the bottom line thinking, fully realize the severe conditions and superposed risks, perfect the safety plans considering the actual conditions, and implement all the safety measures earnestly and carefully to ensure the safety of all Chinese employees.

The mobilization meeting was presided over by Li Quanhuai- CRBC Vice President and Chairman of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Operation Company. Guo Ce- Commercial Counselor of the Embassy, CCCC Overseas Business Department Vice President Liang Qingshan, and Kenya Office General Manager Li Qiang delivered addresses respectively.
