President Lu Shan Meets with Pontas Tambunan–Vice Minister of State-owned Enterprises of Indonesia

On the afternoon of April 11, President Lu Shan met with the visiting delegation led by Pontas Tambunan –Vice Minister of State-owned Enterprises of Indonesia.

Mr. Lu Shan expressed his welcome to the visit of the delegation of Ministry of State-owned Enterprises of Indonesia and also expressed thanks to the Government of Indonesia for its long-term trust in and support for CRBC. He briefly introduced the business development of CRBC in Indonesia and also focused on communicating with the delegation about the Bitung Special Economic Zone project. He said that Bitung Special Economic Zone was an important platform of production capacity and economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia, and that CRBC was willing to make joint effort with the Government of Indonesia and relevant partners to promote the early practice of Bitung Special Economic Zone project and the local economic and social development.

Vice Minister Pontas Tambunan spoke highly of CRBC’s achievements and further communicated with them on the Bitung Special Economic Zone project. He stated that Bitung Special Economic Zone project was one of the most important projects of the Government of Indonesia to accelerate the development of the eastern region and realize the national revitalization and that the state-owned enterprises in Indonesia would pay much attention to Bitung Special Economic Zone project and actively coordinate with relevant departments to provide support for the investment and development of Bitung Special Economic Zone project.
